After
receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the
University of Illinois in 1985, Rena Honorow embarked on her career in law
and business.
Ms.
Honorow devoted more than four of the next five years to hands-on
experience in sales and marketing, with AT&T General
Business Systems as an Account Executive, focusing her work on small
business systems solutions.
In
1991, Ms. Honorow focused her efforts on her legal career, joining the lIT/Chicago-Kent
College of Law where she was honored several times as a member of the Dean’s
List, and as a Ramsey-Burke Scholarship recipient. After receiving her Juris
Doctor degree, she devoted her time to litigation practice, and to
development of her business law practice. In 1995, Ms. Honorow co-authored
an update of the Special Remedies volume for the Illinois Institute
Continuing Legal Education, for the section on Specific Performance actions.
From
1992 through 1996, Ms. Honorow assisted in a variety of civil litigation
matters with the law firm of Fuchs & Roselli in Chicago, Illinois; first
as a law clerk and later as an attorney. She continued her litigation
practice with several prominent Chicago firms including, most recently,
Katten Muchrin & Zavis.
Since
joining the law offices of Marc D. Sherman & Associates, P.C., Ms.
Honorow has assisted clients in real estate and construction-related
litigation, contract litigation and employment-related litigation.
